Long words #1 – Antidisestablishmentarianism

When deciding on the first in a series on long words, it pays to go big, don’t you think? 🙂

Antidisestablishmentarianism is the longest true word in the English language, so by my reckoning, if you can handle that, you can handle anything – it all gets easier from here! So what does it mean? Well this video shows a simple way to break it down into its constituent parts to garner its meaning, bringing in a method which can be used on all long words. I also share the dictionary meaning in the video.

I hope you enjoy it! Let me know what you think. If you have suggestions for the series, please leave a comment!

Best wishes
